How can I backup my Windows mail account, all folders per account?
I am using a HP Personal Media Drive.
I can't find the files in the c:/users
thanks in advance Jerry P

How do I backup just Windows Mail
The messages are located as individual eml files under a directory tree the matches the local folder tree. The location can be found via Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance | Store folder The default location is %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\. You need to show hidden files to see it. You only need now to backup the eml files, as the database will change and is not compatible with versions future to beta 2.
To restore the messages drag the eml files back into an OE or WinMail folder.

Ok I found the directory C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail.
Using windows Explorer, it wont give me access to this file. I hit continue then security tab. I am not sure where to go from here. Its been running so good, I dont want to blow it up. Can you help me some more thanks in advance Jerry P

You have to enable showing hidden files and folders. If you don't have access then you'll have to boot as Administrator. If you still don't get access, then you'll have to boot to safe mode as Admin.
